Dragon Spirit (龍神憑依, Dragon Spirit Possession) is the Noble Art used by Stella Vermillion.
Description[]
Dragon Spirit is the strongest Noble Art of Stella Vermillion aside from Katharterio Salamandra, in which she attained after finding out about her true power as a Blazer. This grants her the abilities of a dragon, which greatly enhances her strength and speed to the point of being able to overwhelm Ouma, an A-Rank who she struggled with prior as well as being able to burn his steel skin reaching his bones, Stella also gained the vitality of a dragon letting her heal from injuries at an accelerated rate.
At first, it was believed Stella needed to stab herself in the chest using Lævateinn, which leaves behind a molten scar that pulsed with a luminous that beats similar to that of a heartbeat with a radiance from her skin and hair.
It is later revealed that Dragon Spirit didn't require Stella to stab herself in the chest using Lævateinn and that motion was just to trick Ikki into believing it during their battle (though he could tell that there was something was wrong due to just how much that Ikki had known her).
In the Vermillion Empire Arc, Yui noted that weaknesses of both herself and Dragon Spirit due to how much she was expending too much of her calories whenever she used her magic. And so, Stella has learned how to control her heartbeat letting her stop shivering even in the cold weather, as well as her metabolism, letting her improve her usage of Dragon Spirit.
Weaknesses[]
Despite being granted the remarkable strength and vitality, it carries a major weakness since it consumes a lot of calories to maintain, which was why Stella ate a lot of food before her match against Ikki in order to get it active much longer. She has soon overcome this weakness, having learned to control her heartbeat and metabolism, letting her extend her amount of time in Dragon Spirit.
