Both Kanata and Touka has been close friends with one another to where it could be implied that they could be viewed as "sisters". She continued to remain by her side entering Hagun Academy and Student Council with one another, as well as fighting alongside her against Akatsuki Academy despite being one of the representatives for the 62nd Seven Stars Sword Art Festival.
