The Kurogane Family (黒鉄家, Kurogane-ke) is among one of the most distinguished families of Blazers in Japan.
History[]
The Kurogane Family is known to have produced many superior Blazers since the Meiji era, the most well-known Blazer being Ryouma Kurogane, who is widely known as Samurai Ryouma, a legendary war veteran and the hero who led Japan to victory in World War II.
Ryouma who was the acting Head of the Kurogane Household was overthrown by his own son Genma Kurogane and the Elders, as his ideals differed from their traditional views, which caused him to be half-exiled from the clan. The ideologies of both Genma and the Elders was soon forced upon the former's son, Itsuki Kurogane, before he was old enough to think for himself and soon became the Clan Head.
Summary[]
The Kurogane Family is very prideful and always worried about how they appear to the public, as their family has produced excellent Blazers for centuries.
As such, the entire clan was concerned about an F-Rank, Ikki Kurogane, being born among them, which caused them to keep him from entering the Magic-Knight World and kept him from training like other children. Once Ikki was able to enter Hagun Academy in his first-year, his father, Itsuki, had the previous Director and a lot of the teachers keep him from attending classes under the pretense of not having enough attribute scores in an attempt to keep from graduating thus causing him to repeat.
Diferring from other Blazers who believe skills such as martial arts and swordsmanship are useless due to their magical powers, the Kurogane realize their importance and train their children in martial arts. Among them, there is also a style of swordsmanship named the Kyokujitsu Isshin-ryuu.
The entire Kurogane Family is divided into the Main Family and Branch Family.
