Ranbalt Raab is a Commanding Officer in the USSS (United States Secret Service) from the Union. He was involved in the Baltic Crisis where he was defeated by the hands of Edelwiess, where like Kiba, Raab is still waiting for a rematch with her.

Raab is a muscular man, wearing a red riding suit.
Personality[]
Raab is a friendly and smart person, although he can also be rather rude, especially against people he views as stupid. Ranbalt also has great honor in the U.S.
History[]
15 years ago, Raab and Yoshikazu Kiba were present during the Baltic Crisis. He, Kiba and everyone else was completely defeated by Edelweiss.
2 years ago, Raab participated in a conference between France and the U.S.A., where he met Ascarid.
Plot[]

Raab, along with Kiba, met Stella, Ikki, Yui and Ascarid in a small village near Edelberg, a mountain where Edelweiss lives. Raab and Kiba stopped a group called Murder Entry from attacking Stella and her group.
Raab then questioned what Stella and the others were doing there, guessing that they are going to challenge Edelweiss like everyone else. Raab and Kiba are also there for this purpose, with Raab wanting to prove that even the world's strongest swordsman can't penetrate the shield of the U.S. Stella and the others though decide to not join with Raab and Kiba, and instead fly towards the mountain.
Intense Cold Trial[]
Later Raab and Kiba are still in the village, conserving their strength for the upcoming confrontation with Edelweiss. Raab provokes some Blazers who were defeated by Stella on their way to Edelweiss, saying that Stella saved them from suicide. This greatly angers the other Blazers, causing them to engage Raab in a fight. Raab though defeats all of the 50 Blazers present in just 10 minutes. He and Kiba then decide to finally head for Edelweiss. On their way through, they are stopped by a girl.
This girl is revealed to be Fu Xiaoli, one of the Four Sages of Shinryuu Temple, who currently on the run from the temple. She wants both Raab and Kiba to fight with her, manifesting her Device. Kiba fights her first, but he is beaten, when Xiaoli uses an ability unknown to Raab. Raab then manifests his own Device, ready to fight Xiaoli.
Raab first throws a flash grenade, to distract Xiaoli. During this, Raab uses his Noble Art Lethal Venom, injecting Xiaoli with a deadly poison. However, Xiaoli remains unaffected by the poison, using the same mysterious ability she used on Kiba. Xiaoli then stabs Raab with her own finger, causing his body to become numb, and unable to move. Xiaoli then moves onward, planning on fighting Edelweiss. Raab and Kiba are both presumed to be currently fine.
Abilities[]
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combat: Raab is proficient in hand-to-hand combat, being able to defeat 50 Blazers in just 10 minutes.
Poison Manipulation: Raab's ability as a Blazers is to manipulate all kinds of poisons in the world.
Keen Intellect: Raab is a rather smart combatant, using different kinds of tactics against stronger opponents. For example, Raab used a flash grenade, a weapon that normally wouldn't damage a Blazer, to temporarily blind Xiaoli.
Device[]
Death Stinger: Raab's Device takes the form of two gauntlets, with long sharp needles on each forearm.
- Lethal Venom: Raab pierces his opponent with one of the spikes on his gauntlets, injecting them with a deadly venom.
