Appearance[]
Tendou is shown to be an elderly almost skeletal man described to be at least in his 70s. He possesses long hair and wears cloth wrapped around his eyes, as well as a cross made from twigs around his neck. His eyes were lost at some point in the war, but when he fights they are filled with green flames. His body is covered with torture wounds from his days in captivity.
Personality[]
Tendou is a firm believer that violence and conflict is the true gift granted to them by God and to this end, he and his group caused the Teito Hotel Occupation Incident in order to start World War III. In that incident, he forced several middle school Blazers to fight one another to the death, as Tendou cried with the deaths of each one as if his own child had been murdered in front of him an act, which has caused Itsuki to question his sanity.
Though in his initial meeting with Touka Toudou, Tendou has shown to be a somewhat generous man as he even granted the young Blazer advise in the incidents that occurred to the Wakaba House where she grew up as well as hearing her plans in what to do after graduating from Hagun Academy. He had even watched the children in the orphanage, while the others were cleaning up.
However, in his talk with Touka, he started to reveal his true colors after realizing that she was dazzling like all the people around him who shines like stars. In his peaching to her, his ideology border on religious fanatism viewing all conflict and tragedies as a means of showing the true brilliance of people in the brink of despair and hardship and even viewing himself as God's Messenger even if it means starting another incident as he had done before.
History[]
In the past, Tendou fought in World War II. He achieved his "Awakening" after being captured and tortured alongside the rest of his comrades killing his captors; afterward as a means to repent, Tendou started to instruct others to achieve "God's Blessing".
He later became the founder of Tendoushuu, a terrorist group who all believed that violence and conflict was the manner of how people should live. Both Tendou and his group also caused the Teito Hotel Occupation Incident resulting in several serious injuries and deaths, the most notable incident was forced thirty middle school Blazers to fight against one another to the death leaving one survivor among them. Afterward, he was defeated and frozen by Ryouma Kurogane, whose son Genma Kurogane built Cocytus to maintain his cryostasis.

Powers & Abilities[]

- Excessive Awakening: He has undergone rare Excessive Awakening which grants him enormous power, increasing his mana and control over at the cost of him abandoning his humanity, turning him into a demon instead of a human. Itsuki has said that Tendou's body is no longer human and is as strong as his device, which also caused him to remain conscious despite being asleep or frozen.
Immense Magic Power: As a Desperado, he has massive amounts of magic. His magic showed no signs of decreasing fast even after releasing so much, Kurono has described him as being a mass of magic instead of physical matter. Even after his physical body perished, his magic power temporarily persisted in the form of his giant face in the clouds.

Tendou can also become like a cloud letting him ward off any kind of attack without being injured. Itsuki even referred to him as a human-shaped disaster.
Mana Control: Tendou has demonstrated superior magic control, being able to turn himself into a cloud-like form of pure magic power, intangible to physical attacks as well as most magical attacks. However, he is vulnerable to Yuudai Moroboshi's magic destruction, and it is presumed that Kurono Shinguuji's World Crisis could also destroy him at the level of spacetime. Furthermore, he could be harmed by superior magic power, though this is considered near impossible given his own massive reserves, and only accomplished by Touka converting Kyushu's entire electric grid into lightning magic.
