Tohka Todo[]
One of Utakata's childhood friend. They first met each other in an orphanage, and at first Utakata disliked Tohka and even attacked her when she had gotten to close to him, as he did not want anything to do with anyone at the time. Eventually, however, she was able to reach him, and they had become very good friends since then.
Kanata Totokubara[]
Another one of Utakata's childhood friend. They met each other in an orphanage which Kanata constantly visits and has been friends since then.
Ikki Kurogane[]
Utakata is on friendly terms with Ikki. Utakata told him about his and Tohka's past in the orphanage, and even told about his dark childhood.

Amane Shinomiya[]
Utakata faced Amane during Akatsuki's attack on Hagun Academy. Utakata was brutally beaten by Amane's ability, the encounter greatly terrifying him.
